It’s an exciting time to be a volunteer with Asmi International. This young organization can really use your help! Your efforts will go a long way toward helping us realize our vision. Read our Board Member profiles to learn about what motivates our volunteer board to give so freely of their time.
Asmi is looking for:
Special Event Help – This will occur every few months and would involve 3-4 hours of assistance with set-up, take-down, bartending, selling totebags, and other tasks needed to throw a successful party!
Committee Members – This can be done primarily over email, with an in-person coordination meeting as needed. Tasks would include researching grants, curriculum development research, special events planning, and marketing/communications.
Teaching Artists - We are looking for professional actors, dancers, film-makers, writers, and teachers who are interested in working with Asmi’s partners in NYC and abroad. Teaching Artists will undertake our mandate to facilitate healing through self-expression and help survivors build essential life skills.
